Tonight, I had an MRI on my left shoulder.  It took me a while to find an MRI center that had the right type of machine I needed and that took my insurance, which I’m quickly forming a negative opinion about but that’s for a later post.  I can’t remember if I ever had an MRI before.  I don’t think so…I think I had a CAT scan once, but not an MRI.

The MRI experience was interesting.  After removing all loose metal from my pockets, the MRI “dude” placed me in the machine and told me not to move.  Now, I could be wrong, but I believe I broke the space-time continuum for a while.  I distinctly remember interacting with the Pharaohs, the Aztecs, and the Klingons.  Then, all of a sudden, I was zapped back through the ethereal portal back onto the MRI platform.  I mentioned by excursion to the MRI dude, but he seemed rather disinterested.  I sense that he may be a Morlock.
